The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to conduct the Combined Defence Services (CDS) and National Defence Academy (NDA) examinations on April 12, 2026, in Raipur district. The district administration has completed all preparations to ensure the examinations are conducted smoothly, fairly, and without disruption.

Complete Preparation by Administration

Officials in Raipur have confirmed that extensive arrangements have been made at all examination centres. From security deployment to seating arrangements and monitoring systems, every aspect has been carefully planned. A control room has also been established to oversee real-time coordination during the examination process.

CDS Examination Schedule and Centres

The CDS examination will be conducted in three separate shifts on the same day. The first shift will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the second shift from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and the final shift from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Three centres have been designated for CDS candidates, including National Higher Secondary School Bal Ashram Campus Kachahari Chowk, PG Umathe Government Girls Higher Secondary School Shanti Nagar, and PG Daga Girls College Bal Ashram Campus.

NDA Examination Schedule and Centres

The NDA examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first session will run from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while the second session is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Five centres have been allocated for NDA candidates, including Laxminarayan Girls Higher Secondary School Gurukul Campus, Swami Atmanand Government English Medium School Lalpur, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Raipur Convent Higher Secondary School Gudhiyari, and Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management and Technology.

Administrative Arrangements and Monitoring

To ensure smooth execution, the district administration has appointed designated officers for supervision and coordination. Deputy Collector Upendra Kindho has been appointed as assistant coordination supervisor, while Kedar Nath Patel has been assigned the responsibility of the control room. Continuous monitoring and strict security arrangements have been ensured at all centres.

Guidelines for Candidates

Authorities have advised candidates to arrive at their examination centres well before the reporting time to avoid last-minute inconvenience. Entry procedures will be strictly regulated to maintain discipline. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their admit cards along with valid photo identification. Any violation of examination guidelines may result in disqualification.
