During these inspections, irregularities were found in five establishments. The issues ranged from improper stock maintenance to the absence of clearly displayed price lists, both of which are considered serious violations under regulatory norms.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;">Show Cause Notices Issued to Defaulters</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;">Taking a strict stance, the department issued show cause notices to all five shop operators found in violation. They have been directed to rectify the shortcomings immediately and ensure compliance with all operational guidelines. Authorities have indicated that further action may follow if improvements are not made within the stipulated time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;">Continuous Monitoring Under District-Level Team</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;">To maintain strict oversight on the storage and distribution of fertilizers, a district-level monitoring team has been established. The team operates under the supervision of Assistant Director of Agriculture Hind Kumar Bhagat, who has been appointed as the nodal officer. Regular and surprise inspections will continue throughout the season to prevent malpractice and safeguard farmers’ interests.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;">Control Room Set Up for Farmer Complaints</span></strong></p>

Farmers can report issues related to fertilizers, seeds, or pesticides through a dedicated helpline number 07762-220213 during office hours.
