REWA: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has announced the Class 10 results, marking a historic achievement for Rewa district. In a display of academic excellence, 36 students from the district have successfully broken into the state’s Top-10 merit list.

The MP Board 10th Result highlights a significant concentration of talent in the region, with students scoring between 490 and 496 marks out of 500. The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education declared the Class 12 higher secondary examination results on Wednesday, recording a 76.01 per cent pass rate among regular students. Officials confirmed this as the best performance in 16 years.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released the outcome at a formal event at the CM House. Two Bhopal girls jointly secured the top rank.

Khushi Rai and Chandni Vishwakarma, both from Bhopal, scored 494 out of 500 marks. They share the first position in the state merit list. District-wise, Jhabua ranked first, followed by Anuppur in second place.

No student was declared supplementary this year. However, approximately 1.99 lakh students could not clear the examination.

Girls once again outperformed boys. The pass percentage for female students stood at 79.41 per cent, compared to 72.39 per cent for male candidates. Self-study students recorded a pass rate of 30.60 per cent.

A total of 6,89,746 students appeared for the exams held between February 10 and March 7, 2026.

Second Chance Exam From May 7

Under the new education policy, the board will conduct a second chance examination starting May 7, 2026. A dedicated helpline – 18002330175 – has been activated for student queries.

School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh said cross-checking and verification were completed rapidly. “Checks were conducted at every level to ensure no mistakes remain. The result has been kept foolproof so that students do not face any problems,” he stated.
