The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has announced the MP Board Class 10 Results 2026. Overall, 73.42 per cent of regular students cleared the high school examination. Pratibha Singh Solanki from Panna district topped the state with a near-perfect score of 499 marks out of 500.

Results Declared Today

The board released the results on its official portal this morning. A total of 8,97,061 students had appeared for the examination conducted between February 13 and March 6, 2026. Of these, 7,87,733 were regular candidates while 1,09,328 appeared as self-study students. Officials confirmed that 73.42 per cent of regular students passed the exam.

Panna Girl Tops State

Pratibha Singh Solanki’s outstanding performance has put Panna on the education map. The young student scored 499 marks, missing perfection by just one mark. Her achievement stands as the highest individual score in the state this year. The board highlighted her result as a shining example of dedication and hard work.

Girls Outperform Male Students

Female students have once again outperformed boys. The pass percentage for girls stood at 77.52 per cent while boys recorded 69.31 per cent. This trend reflects consistent progress among girl students across Madhya Pradesh. Out of 378 students who made it to the merit list, 235 were girls and 143 were boys, further underlining their strong showing.

Government Schools Excel

Government schools have recorded a higher pass percentage of 76.80 per cent compared to 68.64 per cent in private schools. Education department sources indicated that this marks a notable shift, with government institutions delivering better results despite limited resources. The development is expected to boost confidence in the public schooling system.

Anuppur Leads Districts

In the district-wise performance, Anuppur district secured the top spot with a pass percentage of 93.85 per cent. Alirajpur followed closely at 92.14 per cent. These high figures highlight regional strengths in school education and point to effective implementation of teaching programmes in these areas.

Second Chance Examination

The board has introduced a “Second Chance Examination” in place of the earlier supplementary exam system. Students who failed, remained absent, or wish to improve their scores can appear for this opportunity. The second chance exam is scheduled to begin on May 7, 2026. Nearly 2,89,693 students who did not pass the main exam will benefit from this new provision.

Official Result Portals

Students can check their MP Board Class 10 Results through the official website https://mpbse.mponline.gov.in. Results are also available on the Digilocker App, MPBSE Mobile App and MP Mobile App by selecting the “Know Your Result” option and entering roll number and application number. The Madhya Pradesh Government and the board have urged students to use only authorised portals and ignore any rumours or fake websites. Forty-seven cases of cheating were reported during the examination.

The declaration of MP Board Class 10 Results brings relief and celebration for thousands of families across the state while opening new academic pathways for the next phase of education.
