For Driver positions, applicants must be between 21 and 27 years of age as of January 1, 2026. For all other trades, the permissible age bracket is 18 to 23 years.

The CRPF has set specific physical eligibility criteria for applicants. Male candidates from General, OBC, SC, and EWS categories must have a minimum height of 170 cms and chest expansion of 80-85 cms. For male ST candidates, the required height is 162.5 cms with a chest of 76-81 cms. Female candidates from unreserved categories need a height of 157 cms, while ST female applicants require 150 cms. There is no chest measurement requirement for women.

Selection Process and Next Steps

Officials confirmed that the selection will follow a multi-stage process. Candidates will first appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT). Those who clear the written examination will move to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
