Life convict commits suicide at Bhopal Central Jail premises

A 58-year-old inmate serving a life sentence for murder was found hanging from a tree inside the jail’s gaushala on Sunday evening.

According to officials, the incident occurred around 5:30 PM when the inmates were wrapping up their daily chores. Adivasi, a resident of Raisen district, worked as a 'Gausevak' (cowherd) within the jail facility.
