Bhopal Doctor Faces Rape Charge in Poison Clinic Case

Jaipur model alleges deception, assault after clinic visit; FIR filed after months-long probe

 Police have registered an FIR against Dr Abhineet Sarvesh Gupta, operator of the Poison Anti-Aging Skin Clinic in Kollar here, on charges of rape. The accused allegedly lured a young woman from Jaipur with marriage promises before assaulting her at his residence. Clinic Visit Sparks Contact

The complainant, a resident of Balaji Road in Jaipur, first visited the clinic on May 8 last year with her cousin for skin treatment. She underwent sessions with Dr Gupta and returned home. Contact began soon after via mobile messages, sources said. Conversations escalated quickly, with the doctor proposing marriage.

He summoned her to Bhopal, filled sindoor in her hair parting in a mock ritual, and then raped her at his house, the FIR states. Initial reports indicate this marked the start of a pattern of coercion.

Tattoo Demand Under Pressure

On June 8, 2025, Gupta pressured her to get a tattoo of his name on the left side of her chest. She complied. Soon after, she discovered she was pregnant and informed him. He assured her of an imminent wedding, police noted.

The woman traveled to Chennai on July 17. Gupta joined her at a hotel. Four days later, on July 21, he allegedly drugged her and forced an abortion. When she resisted, he assaulted her physically, according to the complaint.

Prior Fraud Case Surfaces

This isn't the doctor's first brush with controversy. Last July, Gupta himself filed an FIR at Chunabhatti police station against Kiran Singh, who posed as a director and duped him of Rs 10 lakh promising Bigg Boss entry. Sources familiar with the matter said the rape probe has now linked back to his own complaint, raising questions about his associations.

Probe Details Emerge

Woman thana officials took up the Jaipur woman's statement after she approached them late last year. The four-month delay stemmed from gathering evidence, including medical records and communications, an officer confirmed. No arrest yet, but teams are scanning his movements.

The Poison Clinic in Kollar continues operations amid the fallout, locals said Wednesday evening. Patients arriving in the afternoon appeared unaware.
