Tom Holland returns in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ for July 2026

Sony and Marvel collaborate on Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth MCU installment starring Tom Holland.

The wait for the next Spider-Man adventure is nearly over. Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have confirmed Spider-Man: Brand New Day will release on July 31, 2026. This fourth installment will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who famously helmed Shang-Chi.

The film features a massive cast that bridges various corners of the MCU. Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker, alongside Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned. Most notably, Jon Bernthal is set to reprise his role as Frank Castle/The Punisher, while Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk will also make an appearance. Rumors suggest the plot follows Peter as he balances a "fresh start" at college with a rising gang war in New York City, pitting him against new street-level threats while he remains forgotten by his closest allies.
