Elder Brother Kills Younger Sibling with Sharp Weapon in Rewa Village Dispute

In a shocking incident that has left a village in mourning, a man allegedly murdered his younger brother with a sharp weapon following a domestic dispute in Harua village under the Gudh police station area in Rewa district. The accused fled the spot immediately after the crime, leaving the family and locals stunned.

The deceased has been identified as Golu Kol (23), while the alleged perpetrator is his elder brother, Dharmendra Kol alias Bhindu Kol (28), both residents of Harua village. According to initial reports, a verbal altercation between the two brothers escalated rapidly on Tuesday, turning fatal when Dharmendra attacked Golu with a sharp-edged weapon. Golu sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.

Village Shocked by Fratricide

Locals described the atmosphere in Harua as one of fear and silence following the incident. Many residents expressed disbelief that a family dispute could lead to such a tragic outcome. “Rishiton ko sharmasar kar dene wali ghatna hai,” said one villager, requesting anonymity.
