Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, are enduring a disappointing season. The five-time champions have managed to win only three of their eleven matches and are currently placed ninth on the points table with six points. Injuries, inconsistent batting and a lack of momentum have all contributed to Mumbai’s struggles this year.

Captain Hardik Pandya missed the last two matches because of a minor injury, forcing Suryakumar Yadav to lead the side. Hardik could return for the Dharamshala clash, which would provide a much-needed boost to the team both as a batter and an all-round option.

Despite the rain threat, the HPCA Stadium has an excellent drainage system. Earlier matches at the venue have started on time even after afternoon showers, so organizers remain hopeful of a full game.
