Popular Bhojpuri actress and television personality Monalisa visited the famous Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain early Thursday morning to seek blessings of Lord Mahakal and participate in the sacred Bhasma Aarti. The actress reached the temple premises around 3 am and remained present during the entire ritual, drawing attention from devotees and visitors gathered for the daily ceremony.

Known for her work in Bhojpuri films and Hindi television serials, Monalisa appeared deeply immersed in devotion as she attended the revered ritual from the Nandi Hall inside the temple complex. Her visit soon became a talking point among devotees and fans present at the shrine during the early morning hours.

Reached Temple Before Dawn

According to temple sources, Monalisa arrived at the Mahakaleshwar Temple before dawn to take part in the traditional Bhasma Aarti, considered one of the most significant religious rituals performed at the Jyotirlinga shrine.

She reportedly spent nearly two hours in the Nandi Hall watching the rituals and offering prayers along with other devotees. Witnesses present at the temple said the actress maintained a calm and devotional presence throughout the ceremony. Following long-standing temple traditions, she also whispered her wishes into Nandi’s ear before proceeding for darshan of Lord Mahakal. Devotees believe that wishes conveyed through Nandi Maharaj reach directly to Lord Shiva. Temple priests later assisted the actress in performing jal arpan through the silver gate area of the sanctum. She sought blessings of Lord Mahakal and spent some time inside the temple premises after the ritual concluded.
