Additional Superintendent of Police Sandeep Mishra confirmed the developments. “After the video surfaced, we conducted an inquiry at the SDOP level. Both personnel were found prima facie guilty, leading to their immediate suspension,” Mishra said.

He added that a detailed investigation is still underway. Departmental proceedings will be initiated against the guilty officials based on the final findings. Senior officers have assured that no leniency will be shown in maintaining discipline within the force.
