The seized cache includes one INSAS rifle along with a large quantity of ammunition. Security forces recovered 49 INSAS cartridges, 12 SLR cartridges, 27 rounds of .303 ammunition, 16 rounds of 8 mm cartridges, 7 musket rounds, and 7 rounds of 12-bore ammunition.

In addition to firearms, the team also recovered two bundles of cordex wire measuring approximately 30 meters, three INSAS magazines, six wireless cells, one pouch, and a steel container.

Officials stated that the recovery indicates the continued attempt by Naxal groups to store resources in remote forest areas despite intensified security operations.

Role of Intelligence Inputs

Police sources confirmed that the operation was made possible due to crucial information provided by surrendered Naxals. These inputs helped security forces pinpoint the exact location of the hidden dump.
