In a key decision to manage seasonal passenger rush, the South Central Railway has announced a Rewa–Charlapalli summer special train service connecting Madhya Pradesh with Telangana. The Rewa–Charlapalli summer special train will operate from June 8, 2026, helping passengers travelling towards Hyderabad and nearby regions.

According to railway officials, the service has been introduced to address high demand during summer vacations, when long-distance trains on this route usually witness heavy waiting lists.

The Rewa–Charlapalli summer special train is expected to benefit passengers from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Telangana by improving connectivity and reducing ticket shortages.

Train Schedule Details

Officials confirmed that Train No. 02158 (Rewa–Charlapalli Special) will operate every Sunday from June 8 to June 28, 2026. The train will depart from Rewa at 12:30 PM and reach Charlapalli the next day at 2:45 PM.

In return direction, Train No. 02157 (Charlapalli–Rewa Special) will run every Saturday from June 7 to June 29, 2026. It will depart Charlapalli at 5:00 PM and arrive in Rewa at 7:30 PM the following day.

Each service will operate for a total of four trips during the scheduled period. The Rewa–Charlapalli summer special train has been planned specifically to accommodate increased summer travel demand.

Railway officials said the route between Rewa and Hyderabad remains one of the busiest long-distance corridors during summer months. A large number of students, working professionals and families travel between these regions for holidays and work-related movement.
