In view of increasing passenger traffic during the summer vacation period, Indian Railways has decided to operate a special train between Bilaspur and Vatva (Ahmedabad). According to railway officials, train number 08265 will run as a one-way summer special service on June 11.

The additional service is aimed at providing more seats and improving the chances of passengers getting confirmed tickets. The train will be operated under the South East Central Railway zone and will pass through several major stations across Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Departure and Route Details

The Bilaspur-Vatva Summer Special Train will depart from Bilaspur at 10:45 am on June 11.

Scheduled stoppages in Chhattisgarh include:

• Raipur: Arrival 12:35 pm, Departure 12:40 pm
• Durg: Arrival 1:35 pm, Departure 1:40 pm
• Gondia: Arrival 3:23 pm, Departure 3:25 pm

After crossing Gondia, the train will continue via Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola and Bhusaval before entering Gujarat.

Major Stops on the Route

Some of the important stoppages include:

• Nagpur – 5:40 pm
• Wardha – 6:48 pm
• Badnera – 8:37 pm
• Akola – 9:37 pm
• Bhusaval – 11:45 pm

On the following day, the train will halt at Jalgaon, Amalner, Nandurbar, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand and Nadiad before reaching Vatva station near Ahmedabad at 9:45 am.

20 Coaches to Be Attached

Railway authorities said the train will consist of 20 coaches. These include:

• Two SLRD coaches
• Four general coaches
• Fourteen sleeper class coaches

The additional coaches are expected to provide relief to passengers facing difficulties in obtaining confirmed reservations during the peak travel season.
