The main event will be held at a playground near the Sandipani School in Makhan Nagar. Officials said the Chief Minister will arrive via helicopter and proceed to the venue after attending a local rally. Before the public meeting, he will pay floral tribute to the statue of national poet Makhanlal Chaturvedi, underscoring the cultural significance of the visit.

During the programme, Dr. Yadav will directly transfer the scheme’s installment into the bank accounts of eligible women beneficiaries, reaffirming the state government’s focus on direct benefit transfer and welfare delivery. The Ladli Behna Yojana is one of the flagship social security initiatives of the state, aimed at providing monthly financial support to women.

Preparations for the event are underway, with arrangements for a large public gathering. Work on erecting domes and other infrastructure at the venue began earlier this week. The administration expects significant attendance from across the district.

On Sunday, Collector Sonia Meena, Superintendent of Police Sai Krishna Thota, and Sohagpur MLA Vijaypal Singh Rajput inspected the venue and reviewed arrangements. District Panchayat CEO Himanshu Jain has been appointed as the nodal officer to oversee coordination and execution of the programme.

The Collector has directed officials of the Public Works Department to ensure proper arrangements at the helipad, main venue, stage and seating areas. The municipal administration has been instructed to deploy fire brigade services, ambulances and medical teams at both the helipad and the event site to ensure public safety.

Security arrangements are being finalised under the supervision of the district police. Traffic management plans and crowd control measures will be implemented to ensure smooth conduct of the programme.

Officials said the visit is expected to give momentum to ongoing development works in the region and strengthen outreach for welfare schemes. The administration has appealed to the public to follow issued guidelines and cooperate with authorities during the event to ensure its orderly execution.
