The death of Indian-origin man Gurbhej Singh in West London has prompted a murder investigation, with police arresting seven people as inquiries continue.

An Indian-origin man was stabbed to death in West London, prompting a major police investigation and a series of arrests as authorities continue to piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Gurbhej Singh, who was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing in Southall, a suburb in the London Borough of Ealing. Fatal Attack in Southall

According to the Metropolitan Police, officers were called by the London Ambulance Service on Wednesday following reports of a stabbing near the junction of North Road and Dormers Well Lane in Southall.

When officers and paramedics arrived, they found two injured men. Gurbhej Singh had suffered serious injuries and was declared dead at the scene despite emergency efforts. A second man, believed to be in his 30s, was also injured during the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.

Seven Arrested

Earlier cases include the fatal stabbing of Karamjeet Singh Simpson in Ilford in 2019 and the death of Sukhwinder Singh in Southall in 2010.
