The fragile diplomatic momentum created by the recent US-Iran agreement has come under renewed pressure after Israel launched fresh attacks in southern Lebanon, killing at least four people. The strikes took place just hours after US President Donald Trump openly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for continuing military operations in Lebanon despite ongoing efforts to stabilize the region.

According to Lebanese state media, Israeli drones targeted two vehicles in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, resulting in multiple casualties and injuries.
