Yash Urges Fans Not To Record Or Share Toxic Spoilers Ahead Of Release

Ahead of Toxic's release, Yash shared a note urging fans not to record theatre scenes or post spoilers, asking them to protect the experience for others.

A day before Toxic hits theatres, Yash shared a note from the film's team asking audiences to protect the viewing experience for others by avoiding spoilers and theatre recordings.

Yash has asked fans not to film scenes from Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups inside theatres or share spoilers on social media once the film releases on Wednesday. The actor posted a note from the film's team on Instagram late Tuesday evening, hours before the movie's worldwide theatrical release.

The note described the film as more than just a project for the team behind it, saying it represented years of work built scene by scene. It called Toxic "an experience made for the big screen as a community."

The team also thanked fans for the response the film had already received in advance bookings, saying the excitement and support meant more than they could express in words.

Towards the end, the note made a direct appeal to audiences: don't record scenes in theatres or post them online, and avoid giving away story beats that could spoil the film for others watching it later.

The request comes as Toxic heads into release with unusually high anticipation. The film marks Yash's return to the screen four years after KGF: Chapter 2, and its Day 1 advance bookings have already crossed Rs 35 crore, placing it among the top five South Indian openers by advance gross.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth. The film releases in theatres on August 26.

Toxic Day 1 Advance Booking Crosses Rs 35 Crore

Yash's Toxic has crossed Rs 35 crore in Day 1 advance bookings ahead of its August 26 release, entering the top 5 South Indian openers of all time.

With release just a day away, Yash's comeback film after KGF: Chapter 2 has crossed Rs 35 crore in Day 1 advance bookings, and trade trackers say the real surge could come from spot bookings on release day itself.

Yash's Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups had recorded a Day 1 advance booking gross of Rs 35.90 crore across all languages by Tuesday evening, with 10,41,503 tickets sold, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. Bookings remain open ahead of the film's worldwide theatrical release on Wednesday, August 26.

That figure places Toxic at No. 4 on the list of South Indian films with the highest Day 1 advance booking gross, behind Pushpa 2: The Rule (Rs 91.24 crore), Yash's own KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 80.30 crore) and Leo (Rs 46.36 crore), and ahead of L2: Empuraan (Rs 11.28 crore). Earlier in the day, at 3.40 pm, Sacnilk had put the advance gross at Rs 35.31 crore direct, rising to Rs 45.13 crore once blocked seats were included, across 19,704 shows.

The Hindi version alone has crossed Rs 17 crore in net advance bookings, according to trade analyst Nishit Shaw, ahead of pre-release estimates of around Rs 15 crore. Trade analyst Girish Johar said advance collections across all languages had crossed Rs 30 crore, calling it the second-best advance figure of the year after Dhurandhar 2. The film has also sold over a million tickets on BookMyShow, making it only the second Kannada film after KGF: Chapter 2 to cross that mark.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic marks Yash's return to the big screen four years after KGF: Chapter 2, in which he plays a dual role as Raya and his son Ticket. The cast includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Sudev Nair. The Central Board of Film Certification has given the film an 'A' certificate; it runs 194 minutes and was shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

Mounted on a reported budget of Rs 500 crore, the film is releasing 503 days after its originally announced date of April 10, 2025, having been pushed back multiple times. It is produced by Venkat K Narayana's KVN Productions and Yash's Monster Mind Creations.

Ahead of release, the Telangana government approved a temporary ticket price hike of Rs 50 in single screens and Rs 100 in multiplexes for ten days, on the condition that the producers contribute Rs 1 crore to a Telugu film employees' welfare fund and screen anti-narcotics advertisements during shows.

For comparison, KGF: Chapter 2 had closed its Day 1 advance at Rs 80.30 crore before going on to collect Rs 116 crore on release day once walk-in ticket sales were added. Trade watchers expect a similar pattern for Toxic, given the film's four-year gap since Yash's last release and the scale of screens booked across the country. Final Day 1 numbers, including spot bookings, are expected once the film opens Wednesday.

A fresh Bollywood project has entered the spotlight with the announcement of Baby Do Die Do, an upcoming film directed by Nachiket Samant. The project has generated considerable interest within the entertainment industry due to its impressive ensemble cast and the reputation of the talent associated with it. Featuring actors such as Huma Qureshi, Sikandar Kher, Chunky Panday, Seema Pahwa, Vidya Malvade, Rachit Singh, Himanshu Malik, Marudhar Shekhawat, and Arun Kushwah, the film is already creating anticipation among moviegoers.

The film is being produced under the banners of Saleem Siblings and Pune-04 Picture LLP. While the makers have not officially disclosed the storyline, genre details, or release timeline, reports suggest that the project is expected to deliver a unique cinematic experience supported by strong performances and engaging storytelling. The announcement comes at a time when audiences are increasingly gravitating toward content-driven films that offer fresh narratives and memorable characters.

One of the key reasons behind the growing curiosity surrounding Baby Do Die Do is its diverse cast lineup. Huma Qureshi, known for balancing mainstream cinema and critically acclaimed performances, continues to be regarded as one of the industry's most versatile actors. Her presence adds significant weight to the project and has already become a major talking point among fans.

Powerful Cast Line-Up

Alongside Huma Qureshi, actor Sikandar Kher is expected to play an important role in the film. Over the years, Kher has built a reputation for delivering impactful performances across films and streaming platforms. Chunky Panday, known for his ability to adapt across comedy, drama, and thriller genres, also brings substantial experience to the production.

Veteran actors Seema Pahwa and Vidya Malvade further strengthen the cast. Both performers have earned praise for their nuanced acting and ability to bring authenticity to their characters. Emerging talents including Rachit Singh, Himanshu Malik, Marudhar Shekhawat, and Arun Kushwah are also expected to contribute significantly to the film's narrative.

Director's Creative Approach

Director Nachiket Samant has previously been associated with projects that explore distinctive themes and unconventional storytelling styles. Industry reports indicate that Baby Do Die Do may continue that creative approach by blending entertainment with a fresh narrative perspective.

Sources familiar with the project suggest that the film aims to strike a balance between commercial appeal and content-driven storytelling. In an increasingly competitive entertainment landscape, films that offer originality and strong character-driven plots are attracting greater audience interest, and Baby Do Die Do appears to be positioning itself within that space.

Although the makers have remained tight-lipped about the plot, the film's unusual title has sparked discussions across social media platforms and Bollywood circles. Such early curiosity often plays a significant role in building anticipation ahead of promotional campaigns.

At present, no official teaser, trailer, or release date has been announced. Industry observers expect the production team to reveal additional details in the coming weeks as the project moves closer to its marketing phase. Until then, the combination of a talented ensemble cast, an experienced director, and a mysterious premise is expected to keep Baby Do Die Do firmly on the radar of Bollywood followers.

As audience expectations continue to evolve, films backed by strong performances and fresh concepts are drawing increased attention. Whether Baby Do Die Do lives up to the growing buzz will become clearer once more information about the project is unveiled, but for now, it has successfully established itself as one of the notable upcoming films in the Hindi film industry.
