In a dramatic turn of events, a 3-minute-20-second confession video has emerged of Rahul Mishra, the prime accused who allegedly fired 16 rounds at a local resident's house in Azad Nagar on Sunday night. Speaking from an undisclosed location three days after the incident, Mishra claimed he was driven to pick up the gun by a predatory loan shark and police apathy.

Defying the Morena police administration, the accused demanded that authorities shoot him in an encounter rather than harass his elderly parents, who he claims have nothing to do with the shooting.

Forced Car Agreement Despite Settling Debt

According to Mishra's video statement, the conflict traces back to a financial transaction with the victim, Suraj Yadav alias Sonu. Mishra claimed he had borrowed a sum of money from Yadav and repaid the principal along with a mutually agreed 2% interest. However, Yadav allegedly began extorting him, demanding an exorbitant 20% interest rate instead.

Mishra alleged that when he refused to comply with the inflated demands, Yadav assaulted him and forcibly extracted a legal agreement for his personal car.

"I went to the Station Road police station to lodge a formal complaint against this extortion, but the local police refused to take any action against him," Mishra alleged in the video.

Car Snatched by Musclemen on Highway

Detailing the immediate trigger behind Sunday's brazen shooting, Mishra said he tried navigating formal channels and even approached the Superintendent of Police during a public grievance hearing (Jansunwai).

"Sonu Yadav openly mocked me, saying they have immense wealth and power, and that the police would never listen to a person like me. I even have the acknowledgment receipt from the SP office complaint," Mishra said.

The breaking point arrived on the night of June 22 near the Ganeshpura bridge. Mishra alleged that Yadav, accompanied by 10 to 15 musclemen, intercepted his vehicle, assaulted him, and drove away with his car.

"I called Dial 100 repeatedly, but no police unit arrived for 20 minutes. It became crystal clear to me that the local police were hand-in-glove with the loan shark. Left with no avenue for justice, I took matters into my own hands at 10:55 PM that night," the accused stated.

16 Rounds in 2 Minutes: The Firing Incident

The incident unfolded on Sunday night when four masked miscreants riding two motorcycles pulled up outside Yadav’s residence in Azad Nagar. CCTV footage from the location showed the riders intentionally ramming a motorcycle into the main gate before pulling out firearms.

Within a span of two minutes, the attackers unleashed a volley of 16 bullets directly at the house before speeding away from the spot. Following the incident, the Kotwali police registered an FIR naming Rahul Mishra along with three unidentified associates.

"The complaint application mentioned by the accused was submitted during the tenure of the former TI, Kuldeep Rajput. This specific grievance never came across my desk. Had the matter been brought to my attention, strict legal recourse would have been initiated immediately," Baraiya stated.

Meanwhile, Mishra has warned that if any harm comes to him or the loan shark, the Morena district administration will be solely responsible, reiterating that he is prepared to end his own life if his vehicle is not recovered and an FIR is not filed against Yadav for assault.
