• Pune Rural Police told a magistrate that CCTV recovered from Lohagad shows a third person trailing the couple on June 18; that man — hooded in summer heat — later matched images of Chetan, officials said.

• Call detail records examined by police show roughly 2,004 calls between Siya and Chetan from January through the morning of June 18, amounting to about 338 hours of talk time. Authorities say the frequency and duration of calls indicate a sustained relationship.

• During custodial questioning, Siya reportedly admitted she wanted to call off the marriage and had repeatedly told Ketan so; police are treating this as one possible motive under investigation.

Alleged pattern of attempts

• On May 31, both visited Lohagad and, according to investigators, Siya is believed to have conceived the idea of pushing Ketan from the fort’s edge.
