Fresh claims have emerged in the sensational Ketan Agarwal murder case, with new details suggesting financial transactions and planning that point to a well-orchestrated conspiracy.

According to sources, Siya Goyal allegedly took ₹1 crore from Ketan in the name of wedding shopping but handed over the entire amount to her boyfriend Chetan Chaudhary. This revelation has added a strong financial motive angle to the case.

A statement by cab driver Vaibhav Jadhav, who dropped Ketan and Siya at the airport on June 6 for their pre-wedding Bali trip, has also surfaced. Vaibhav claimed Siya was reluctant to travel and argued with her brother Sahil throughout the journey from Pune to Ravet. He alleged the car was stopped midway, after which Siya took out some belongings and hid them in the boot. Later, a call came saying a passport had been left behind — now believed to be deliberately hidden by Siya herself.

Police said Chetan travelled nearly 90 km from Pune to Lohagad Fort on a scooter instead of a car to avoid toll records. The scooter has been seized. Investigators recreated the sequence of events at the fort on Sunday using a dummy, with both accused present.

Siya’s lawyer Ashutosh Shrivastava argued that statements made in police custody cannot be treated as evidence in court. He questioned why the case was initially treated as an accident before being converted into a murder investigation and demanded Siya’s release from custody.

Police have also found that both Siya and Chetan had searched Google for “death points” at Lohagad Fort, routes, ravines, and ways to kill by poisoning without raising suspicion. Two old videos of Siya and Chetan have also surfaced — one from a cafe in Kondhwa on June 17 and another where they were watching a cricket match.

The timeline of the case shows Siya allegedly planned the murder after the February 11 engagement. Multiple attempts were made, including a push on June 14 that Ketan survived. The final attempt on June 18 succeeded when both Siya and Chetan allegedly pushed him from behind at the fort.

Ketan was murdered on June 18. Siya and Chetan were arrested within six days. Both are accusing each other of being the mastermind.

The case continues to shock Pune, with investigators piecing together financial transactions, digital evidence, and witness statements. Further details are expected as the probe progresses.
