Speaking on the reality show Lock Upp, Sunita Ahuja revealed details about her recent patch-up with Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmera Shah. According to Sunita, Kashmera became emotional during their meeting and apologised for past misunderstandings, helping bring closure to a family feud that had lasted for nearly 15 years.

During a conversation with a fellow contestant on the show, Sunita recalled how the reconciliation unfolded. She said she had reunited with Krushna after many years and even met his children, whom she had not seen despite their growing up over the years.

Sunita also spoke warmly about Kashmera, describing her as a good person and claiming that the actor-model apologised while becoming emotional. According to her, the moment turned emotional for both sides and helped erase years of bitterness between the families.

Her comments quickly attracted attention online, especially because the dispute between Govinda’s family and Krushna Abhishek had remained one of the most talked-about family disagreements in the entertainment industry.

Soon after Sunita’s remarks went viral, Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah were asked about the comments while interacting with the media on the sets of a television show.

Responding to the questions, the couple maintained a light-hearted tone. Krushna said he had watched Lock Upp and felt Sunita was performing well on the show. Referring to the discussion about their family, he noted that such conversations were natural, adding that he often speaks about his uncle Govinda and Sunita on television, while they were now speaking about him on another platform.

The reconciliation itself took place earlier this year during the shooting of the celebrity cooking reality show Laughter Chefs. Visuals from the set had shown an emotional reunion between the family members. Krushna was seen bowing before Sunita as both sides appeared willing to leave the past behind.

The dispute between the families dates back several years and gradually became public through media interviews and social media exchanges.

The controversy gained widespread attention in 2018 after Kashmera Shah posted a social media message that many believed was aimed at Govinda. The post referred to some actors performing at weddings for money, and although no names were mentioned, it sparked speculation and led to a public exchange of statements.

In response, Sunita Ahuja had criticised Kashmera in interviews and suggested that tensions within the family had increased after her arrival. While she did not directly name Kashmera at the time, her remarks were widely interpreted as a reference to Krushna’s wife.
