In a major initiative to boost employment opportunities for young job seekers, the District Employment Office in Indore will organise a one-day 'Yuva Sangam' Employment Fair on July 6, offering recruitment for more than 250 vacancies across various private sector companies.

The employment fair will be held at the District Employment Office, Polo Ground (District Trade and Industry Centre campus) from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. The programme is being organised under the guidance of Indore Collector Shivam Verma with the objective of connecting unemployed youth with potential employers.

According to Deputy Director, Employment Piyush Mandloi, several reputed companies are expected to participate in the recruitment drive. Candidates will have the opportunity to interact directly with company representatives and appear for interviews at the venue.

Officials said the employment fair aims to provide immediate placement opportunities while strengthening industry-employment linkages in the district. The initiative is part of the state government's ongoing efforts to enhance employment generation and facilitate private-sector hiring through district-level job fairs.

Eligible candidates are advised to report to the venue with multiple copies of their updated resume, educational certificates, identity proof, passport-sized photographs, and other relevant documents required for the recruitment process.

The organisers have appealed to unemployed youth seeking private-sector jobs to make the most of the opportunity by attending the fair on time. Recruitment will be carried out by participating companies based on their individual eligibility criteria, qualifications, and interview performance.

District officials expect a large turnout of job aspirants from Indore and nearby areas. Besides recruitment, the event is also expected to serve as a platform for candidates to understand industry requirements and explore career opportunities in different sectors.

The administration has urged interested candidates to reach the venue well before the scheduled time to complete registration and participate in the selection process smoothly.
