Originally from Peshawar, Dr. Anoosh Masood Chaudhry has built a distinguished career in Pakistan's police service. She completed her MBBS from Fatima Jinnah Medical College, where she graduated with a gold medal in medicine before deciding against a medical career and opting for the prestigious Central Superior Services (CSS) examination to join the Police Service of Pakistan.

Her rise through the ranks has seen several milestones. In 2014, she became the first female Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) posted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, breaking barriers in one of Pakistan's most conservative provinces. She later served in key policing roles, including Superintendent of Police in Kasur, Additional SP in Lahore's Model Town, and SP at Punjab Police Headquarters.

Dr. Chaudhry earned recognition for her policing achievements after being named Lahore's Best Crime Fighter in 2018, reflecting her performance in criminal investigations and law enforcement. In May 2022, she made history again by becoming the first woman appointed as SSP (Operations) Lahore, one of the city's most prominent policing assignments.

Beyond operational policing, she has been involved in initiatives aimed at increasing women's participation in law enforcement and promoting gender-sensitive policing within the department. Her contribution to women's empowerment and public service earned her the International Women of Courage Award from the U.S. Department of State in 2020.

In earlier interviews, Dr. Chaudhry revealed that her parents wanted her to pursue a career in medicine and eventually settle abroad. However, after the death of her father, she decided to remain in Pakistan and enter public service instead, choosing policing over clinical practice through the CSS examination.
