Where the process stands
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission conducted the SI/Platoon Commander written examination on April 5-6, 2026, for 1,015 vacancies across Sub-Inspector (A.P., I.B., MBC) and Platoon Commander (RAC) posts. The written result was declared on June 19, 2026, with 20,455-20,798 candidates (figures vary slightly across sources) provisionally qualifying for the next stage — the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

Admit card download
The PET/PST admit card is being issued separately from the written exam hall ticket, and candidates can download it through their SSO Rajasthan ID on the official portal, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in, or via the Rajasthan Police recruitment portal. To download, candidates need to log in to the Recruitment Portal under Citizen Apps (G2C) on the SSO website, locate the PET/PST Admit Card section, and retrieve their hall ticket using their application number and date of birth.

Where the tests are being held
The PET/PST is being conducted at seven Police Headquarters locations across Rajasthan for candidates who cleared the written exam.

What the physical stage actually tests
Candidates must qualify both the Physical Standard Test — covering height, chest measurement (for male candidates) and other physical parameters — and the Physical Efficiency Test, which evaluates running, long jump and high jump performance against prescribed standards. Both stages are qualifying in nature: candidates must meet the minimum benchmarks to proceed, but performance beyond the qualifying standard doesn't add extra weight to the final merit score, which is based on the written exam and interview stages instead.

What happens after PET/PST
Candidates who clear both physical stages move on to Document Verification, followed by an Interview or Personality Test, before the final merit list is prepared based on combined written exam and interview performance.

What candidates should do now
Anyone shortlisted for this stage should download their admit card without delay and begin or continue focused physical training — meeting the minimum benchmarks is non-negotiable, since failing the PST or PET disqualifies a candidate regardless of how strong their written exam score was. Candidates should also carry their admit card along with a valid photo ID to the test venue, and should not wait until the last day to download the hall ticket in case of portal traffic or login issues.
