Russia and Ukraine have exchanged another wave of missile and drone attacks, killing civilians and damaging residential and commercial infrastructure on both sides of the border.

Ukrainian authorities said a multi-storey residential building was hit in Kharkiv, killing three people and injuring 37. Russian strikes also damaged the port of Odesa, an important centre for Ukrainian agricultural exports.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of threatening global food security by attacking port infrastructure.

Ukraine Targets Russian Territory

Russian authorities said Ukrainian drone attacks killed six people in Belgorod. More than 20 others were reported injured.

Russia’s Defence Ministry claimed that more than 150 Ukrainian drones had been intercepted over Russian regions, occupied Crimea, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

Ukraine also reported attacks on Russian-linked oil tankers and cargo vessels in the Black Sea, saying the operations were intended to disrupt Moscow’s wartime logistics and revenue.

Russia said its forces had targeted Ukrainian fuel installations supporting military operations.

The claims made independently by the two governments could not all be verified. Both countries deny intentionally targeting civilians.
