<p>Swine flu cases are increasing rapidly in Chhattisgarh, with the state reporting 85 new H1N1 infections in the last two days. According to the latest health department data, the total number of confirmed cases has increased to 344, while 122 patients are currently under treatment.</p>
<p>The number of cases rose from 298 on September 8 to 344 in the September 9 health department update. Raipur has emerged as the most affected district, contributing nearly 42% of the total cases reported in the state.</p>
<h2>Raipur records highest number of infections</h2>
<p>Raipur reported the highest number of H1N1 patients, with cases increasing from 127 to 146 in one day. The district recorded 19 new infections in the latest update.</p>
<p>After Raipur, Durg and Bilaspur have reported the highest number of cases, with 41 patients each.</p>
<p>Other districts reporting cases include:</p>

<h2>39 new cases reported on September 9</h2>
<p>The health department data showed that 39 new H1N1 cases were detected on September 9.</p>
<p>Among these, 19 cases were from Raipur, 10 from Mahasamund, 3 from Bilaspur, 2 from Korba, and one each from Durg, Raigarh, Mungeli, Rajnandgaon and Surguja.</p>
<p>A day earlier, on September 8, the state had recorded 46 new cases.</p>
<h2>Active patients increase to 122</h2>
<p>The number of active swine flu patients has also increased.</p>
<p>On September 8, Chhattisgarh had 113 active cases, including 81 patients admitted in hospitals and 32 under home isolation.</p>
