The Chief Minister’s message, read during the programme, outlined the state government’s focus on good governance, social harmony, and the implementation of public welfare schemes aimed at inclusive growth. Officials said the address reiterated the administration’s commitment to strengthening basic services and improving quality of life across urban and rural areas.

The Union Minister honoured them with shawls, coconuts, and commendation certificates, acknowledging their sacrifices and contribution to the nation’s freedom and security. The moment drew sustained applause from the audience, underscoring the solemnity of the occasion.

Schoolchildren added colour and emotion to the event with cultural performances based on patriotic songs. Their presentations reflected themes of national unity and civic duty, reinforcing the spirit of Republic Day celebrations.

Recognition for Outstanding Service

During the ceremony, 83 individuals from various fields were awarded commendation certificates for exemplary work. According to the administration, the awardees included officers and employees from different state government departments who have made notable contributions in public service and community welfare. Officials said the recognition was intended to encourage dedication and accountability in governance.
