First State Grand Finale in Madhya Pradesh

With a legacy spanning 60 years, Femina Miss India has launched many personalities who later brought international recognition to India. In 2026, the state-level grand finale was hosted in Madhya Pradesh for the first time. City Director Apeksha Shrivastava described it as a historic day, noting that local youth can now participate in major events closer to home.

Competition Format and Selection

Around 150 contestants from across the state took part. After multiple screening rounds, 16 finalists were chosen for the grand finale. They were judged through public speaking, interviews, and talent rounds based on skill and performance.

Representation at State and National Levels

Winner Dhanushree Chauhan will now represent Madhya Pradesh at the national competition. The pageant aims not only to identify talent but also to promote women’s empowerment and cultural identity.

Importance of the Sustainability Theme

The event stood out for its eco-focused concept. Under the “Sustainability-First” theme, the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative and local artisans were included as eco-partners, blending environmental responsibility with cultural pride.

Event Linked to Bhopal’s Heritage

The event highlighted not just beauty and talent but also Bhopal’s cultural heritage. It was organized by Bright Stage, founded by Nikhila Gupta.

Participants shared that the platform helped them showcase their abilities while boosting confidence and presentation skills. Selected contestants will now compete nationally and gain recognition across the country.
