Visibility improved gradually to around 100 metres by mid-morning, but disruptions cascaded through the day. The India Meteorological Department had forecast persistent dense fog, issuing an orange alert for Delhi. Passengers crowded terminals, many expressing frustration over long waits and rescheduling challenges. Ground staff assisted with rebookings, while airlines offered waivers under fog policies.

This marks another severe episode in Delhi's annual winter fog saga, which routinely hampers the country's busiest airport.
