Sheopur district in Madhya Pradesh witnessed tense scenes on Saturday evening after a tribal farmer was allegedly shot dead in a violent land dispute, leading to protests, vandalism and a confrontation between villagers and police.

The incident took place in the Karahal area, where a long-running dispute over agricultural land reportedly escalated into firing.
