Italy-based helicopter manufacturer AgustaWestland is set to re-enter India’s defence sector, nearly a decade after the VVIP helicopter scandal shook Indian politics. The company, which manufactures VVIP, military, and search-and-rescue helicopters, will now supply helicopters to the Indian Army in collaboration with Adani Defence and Aerospace.
