Tarana town in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district witnessed widespread unrest on Friday after a local dispute escalated into violence, leading to arson, stone-pelting and large-scale damage to public and private property. At least 13 buses were vandalised, one bus was set on fire, and several shops and houses were damaged. Police have arrested 15 people in connection with the violence, officials said.
