Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday alleged that the Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal government is sheltering infiltrators and predicted that the people of the state will “uproot” the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in the upcoming 2026 assembly elections. Shah made the remarks while addressing a rally in Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas, during his two-day visit to West Bengal.
