The Bihar cabinet, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, on Thursday approved a wide-ranging package of welfare, education and policing measures, including a major expansion of the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme that will provide financial assistance of up to ₹2 lakh to women entrepreneurs. The decisions were taken at a cabinet meeting in which 32 agendas were cleared.
