An encounter between security forces and Maoists is currently underway in the forests of Bijapur National Park, near the Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border, officials confirmed. Two Maoists have been killed so far, and intermittent firing has continued since Saturday morning. AK-47 rifles have been recovered from the site.
