The Bilaspur Municipal Corporation has suspended a Revenue Inspector (RI) after an internal audit revealed alleged financial irregularities amounting to more than ₹14 lakh. The action was taken against Ramnarayan Devangan, Revenue Inspector of Zone No. 2, following findings that tax collections made over multiple financial years were not deposited into the municipal treasury.
