Taking a hard line against the continued use of banned Chinese kite strings, the Madhya Pradesh High Court’s Indore Bench on Monday warned that deaths caused by Chinese manja would invite charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. The court said parents of minors found using the hazardous strings would be held legally responsible and face criminal action.
