Veteran actor Dharmendra will be honoured posthumously with the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian award, in recognition of his decades-long contribution to Indian cinema. The announcement was made by the Union government on Sunday, ahead of the 77th Republic Day. Dharmendra passed away on November 24 last year at the age of 89.
