Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, head priest of Bageshwar Dham, on Friday stressed that India’s progress as a Hindu nation depends on reforming internal shortcomings within the Hindu community rather than criticizing other religions. Speaking during a visit to Banda, Shastri addressed issues such as divorce practices and religious customs, warning that any public commentary against other communities could trigger unrest.
