Actor Rani Mukerji is set to return to theatres with Mardaani 3, the next instalment in Yash Raj Films’ crime thriller franchise, promising a darker narrative and a more dangerous fight than before. Scheduled for release on January 30, 2026, the film once again features Mukerji as fearless police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy, a character that has come to symbolise resistance against crimes targeting women.
