Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday alleged that adulterated ghee, including animal fat and chemical contaminants, was used for nearly five years in the preparation of Tirupati laddu prasad during the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government. The allegations, made at a public meeting in Kalugotla village of Kurnool district, have triggered a sharp political exchange, with the YSRCP denying wrongdoing and terming the charges false and misleading.
