Russia claimed that Ukraine launched a massive drone attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s official residence in Novgorod over the nights of 28 and 29 December, involving 91 unmanned aerial vehicles. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that all drones were intercepted by Russian air defence systems and described the incident as an act of terrorism, warning of a planned counterattack.
