Baba Mahakal Adorned with Vaishnav Tilak – Devotees Overflow in Bhasma Aarti

On the auspicious occasion of the Shukla Paksha Ekadashi in the Vaishakh month, the gates of the Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple were opened at 4:00 AM today.
The world-famous Baba Mahakal was specially adorned with a Vaishnav tilak today, offering devotees a divine experience.
The Divine Abhishek and Adornment:
As soon as the temple doors opened, the first ritual performed was the water abhishek of Mahakaleshwar. Afterward, a ritual abhishek was done with Panchamrit made from milk, curd, ghee, honey, and fruit juice. The Vaishnav tilak was applied, and the forehead of Baba Mahakal was adorned with the moon and trishul. Following this, Mahakal was decorated with sandalwood, bhang, jewelry, and garlands of fragrant flowers.
Baba Mahakal was adorned with a silver Sheshnag crown, a silver Mundmala, a Rudraksha mala, and a divine garland of flowers. Bhasma was offered to him, and fruit sweets were presented as an offering.
Devotion Overflowing in Bhasma Aarti:
Hundreds of devotees gathered in the temple complex for the morning Bhasma Aarti. The temple echoed with chants of "Jai Baba Mahakal." Devotees offered their wishes near Nandi Maharaj's ear, seeking blessings for their fulfillment.
