4 June: Mahesh Navami – The main festival of Maheshwari community, in which Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati are worshiped.
5 June: Ganga Dussehra – Celebrated in memory of the descent of River Ganga on earth. Ganga bath and charity have special significance on this day.
6 June: Nirjala Ekadashi – Considered the best of all Ekadashis. On this day, Lord Vishnu is worshiped by fasting without water.
8 June: Pradosh Vrat – Shiva devotees worship Lord Shiva in the evening.
10 June: Vat Savitri Purnima – Married women worship the Vat tree and observe a fast for the long life of their husbands.
11 June: Sant Kabir Jayanti – Birth anniversary of the great saint Kabirdas, whose writings still guide society.
14 June: Sankashti Chaturthi – Ganesh devotees observe a fast and complete the fast after seeing the moon.
21 June: Yogini Ekadashi – On this day, fasting is observed and Lord Vishnu is worshipped, which gives freedom from sins.
23 June: Masik Shivratri – Celebrated on Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha of every month; Rudrabhishek of Shivling is performed on this day.
25 June: Ashadha Amavasya – Special day for Pitru Tarpan and Shradh Karma.
26 June: Start of Gupt Navratri – This Navratri is known for Tantric Sadhana and special worship.
27 June: Jagannath Rath Yatra – A grand Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra is taken out in Puri, Odisha, in which lakhs of devotees participate.
