Sawan, the special month of Shiva worship for devotees, is now in its final phase. This year the last Monday of Sawan fell on August 4, due to which the series of special worship, Rudrabhishek and fasts in Shiva temples was at its peak. But now the question arises, is Sawan over with this? And what should the devotees do till Rakshabandhan?

According to the Panchang, Sawan month is considered till Shravan Purnima does not come. This year the full moon of Sawan is on August 9, i.e. on the day of Rakshabandhan. In such a situation, if seen from a religious point of view, Sawan is still going on, just the series of Monday fasts has been completed.
