Panchang July 2 2026 – Ashadha Krishna Dwitiya, Inauspicious Yogas Today

Check the complete Panchang for July 2, 2026. Today is Ashadha Krishna Dwitiya with Vaidhriti and Vishkumbh Yogas. Avoid auspicious work during Bhadra Kaal.

Two Inauspicious Yogas Form on July 2

According to the Hindu Panchang, today marks Ashadha Krishna Dwitiya, falling on Thursday, July 2, 2026. Astrologers note that two inauspicious yogas – Vaidhriti Yoga and Vishkumbh Yoga – are forming today, making it unfavourable for auspicious and manglik activities.

Vaidhriti Yoga will remain in effect until 4:38 PM, after which Vishkumbh Yoga begins. Both yogas are traditionally considered unsuitable for beginning new ventures, marriages, or significant investments.

Adding to the cautionary notes, Bhadra Kaal will also cast its shadow today for approximately one and a half hours. According to Drik Panchang and Prokerala Panchang calculations, no auspicious work should be undertaken during this period.

The Dwitiya tithi of Krishna Paksha in Ashadha month remains until 9:38 AM, after which Tritiya tithi begins. Uttarashadha Nakshatra continues until 9:27 AM, followed by Shravana Nakshatra.

The Moon entered Capricorn at 1:31 PM. Saturn moved into the second pada of Revati Nakshatra at 8:22 AM. The Sun remains in Ardra Nakshatra, ruled by Rahu. Mercury is positioned in Cancer.

Sunrise today is at 5:49 AM and sunset at 7:12 PM. Moonrise is at 9:11 PM and concL0set at 8:26 AM on July 3. Abhijit Muhurat is from 11:57 AM to 12:53 PM. Rahu Kaal falls between 2:10 PM and 3:54 PM.

Given the combination of inauspicious yogas, astrologers advise against performing any shubh karya today. This includes weddings, housewarming ceremonies, business inaugurations, and major financial transactions. Thursday, being associated with Guru (Jupiter) and Lord Vishnu, still holds spiritual significance. Experts suggest focusing on prayer, charity, and spiritual practices instead of material endeavours.

Thursday is traditionally dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Jupiter. Peepal trees are considered sacred on this day. Devotees are encouraged to offer prayers to Lord Vishnu and seek blessings for wisdom and prosperity.

Practical Advice for the Day

- Avoid starting new business ventures

- Postpone significant financial decisions

- Focus on completing pending routine work

- Engage in meditation and spiritual activities

- Donate to the needy as a remedial measure

Astrologers emphasize that while today may not be ideal for new beginnings, it offers an opportunity for reflection, completion, and spiritual growth.
