Yogini Ekadashi, a fast for happiness and prosperity to get rid of sins

This year Yogini Ekadashi is on 21 June, Saturday. Based on the calendar, Bhadra will be in the shadow of Yogini Ekadashi. It is believed that by duly worshiping Lord Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi, the protector of the world, one gets the desired result on this day. According to Pt. Jitendra Sharma, Yogini Ekadashi is in Preeti Yoga, according to the Hindu calendar, Bhadra will be from 2.17 pm to 1.12 pm on Yogini Ekadashi, but Bhadra is not justified in the fast.

Yogini Ekadashi will be on 21 June this year for Smart and on 22 June for Vaishnava sect. On Yogini Ekadashi, Lord Narayana is worshipped, who is a form of Lord Vishnu. Fasting on this Ekadashi eradicates all kinds of sins. On this day, after taking a bath in the morning, one should take a vow of fasting and then bathe with milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar and offer clothes, sandalwood, flowers, Tulsi and then worship. Offer naivedya should be done with incense and lamps. Chant the twelve-lettered mantras of God, perform havan etc. Also, donate clothes, milk etc. on this Ekadashi. According to the beliefs of Hinduism, by observing Yogini Ekadashi fast, a person gets freedom from all sins. Happiness and prosperity come in life.

Mythological belief

According to the mythological story, Yaksha King Kuber used to worship Shiva in his palace every day, for which his messenger Hem Mali used to bring flowers from Mansarovar. But one day he brought flowers and went straight to his wife. Due to this, the flowers did not reach on time and he got leprosy due to Kuber's curse and he fell on the ground. One day, seeing his condition, Markandeya Rishi asked him to observe the fast of Yogini Ekadashi. By observing the fast, Hem Mali's sin was destroyed. This story should be heard during the fast.

Yogini Ekadashi Vrat Parana Time-Yogini Ekadashi Vrat Parana will be done on 22 June. The auspicious time for Vrat Parana will be from 1:47 pm to 4:35 pm.
