Hansika Motwani alleges pressure sale of flat, mother’s ex-sister-in-law makes serious claims

Actress Hansika Motwani and her mother Jyotika Motwani had demanded the cancellation of the case registered against them, that petition was recently rejected by the Bombay High Court. After which they have got stuck in serious legal troubles. Now this case has reached the trial stage.
What is the whole matter?
Let us tell you that the actress's ex-sister-in-law Nancy James has made serious allegations against Hansika Motwani and her mother Jyotika Motwani. Nancy alleges that since marriage, she has suffered mental and physical torture from her in-laws. Expensive gifts and money were constantly demanded from her. Nancy has mentioned several sections in her complaint. These include Section 498A (dowry-related cruelty) and Section 352 (intentional insult and threat) of the Indian Justice Code. Due to the FIR registered under these sections, Hansika and her mother will now have to face the court.
Actress Hansika Motwani's ex-sister-in-law Nancy James says that the relationship turned sour soon after marriage. She alleged that she had to sell her flat under pressure from the Motwani family. The constant financial and emotional stress also damaged her health and during this time she suffered from a serious disease like Bell's Palsy.

Let us tell you that Hansika Motwani and her mother Jyotika Motwani had got anticipatory bail from the Sessions Court in February 2025, which gave them relief from arrest. After this, the actress filed an application in the High Court to get the FIR quashed, but recently the court rejected it and made it clear that the truth of the allegations will be known only during the trial.
